Volunteer With SDU — WE NEED YOU!
Running a soccer club for almost 2,000 kids isn’t easy. We need your help.
The South Delta United Soccer Club depends on volunteers from our membership to ensure the successful running of the club, keep your registration fees low, and provide our children with a positive experience.
Some volunteer positions require more commitment than others but are essential to keep our Club going. Please inquire to see where you can help out at the Club level or see your child’s Team Manager or Coach to offer your assistance at the team level. At different times throughout the year, we will also make calls for volunteers to assist with specific tasks or fill much needed roles, as they come up. Please be sure to come forward to lend a hand.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
This is an appointed volunteer position.
Organizes volunteers for any SDU special events - Jamborees, Tournaments, including toy drives, cleat exchanges, and so forth. Organize an SDU presence at external events - Ladner May Days, Tsawwassen Sun Fest, Tour De Delta, etc. Finds ways to engage within the community
FIELD EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR
Work with our Equipment Manager to:
Ensure that all field equipment is in good order.
Ensure that nets, flags, liners & paint are available at all fields.
Ensure that all padlocks & keys are in good working order.
ADULT PROGRAMS COORDINATOR *NEW*
As the club adds adult teams to fulfill our vision of offering “cradle to grave” soccer, we need someone to coordinate.
Responsible for Men’s and Women’s player registration.
Responsible for adult team registration with leagues.
Help Coordinate equipment and uniform distribution.
First line of communication between club and adult players & coaches.
