REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR FALL SOCCER

Payment Policy

Registration for all SDU programs must now be paid online by credit card or prepaid credit card.  This policy was introduced to reduce the workload of our volunteers, and to allow the club to streamline the payment and team allocation processes.   We no longer accept cheques.

Please note that you must pay at the time of registering. If you do not complete your registration by paying in full by credit card/prepaid credit card, your registration will not be considered complete and your child will not be registered.   If you have any questions, please contact your registrar.

Select Fees

Anyone who is chosen to play for a select (Division 1 or 2) team will
be charged an additional $90.00 dollars to cover extra turf time, an
extra jersey, and additional technical coaching support.

Please only register your child as a “select” player if they have
been notified by Technical Staff of their placement on a select team and
named on the Evaluation Results posted online.

Discount for Siblings

A discount of $25.00 is offered for every sibling that joins the Club
after the initial family member has registered.  Please note that you
must fill in one child’s personal information then click on “ADD A
SIBLING” (found directly above the address box) before completing the
remainder of the registration. This will ensure that the sibling
discount is applied at the point of payment.

All NEW players to SDU must submit proof of age (POA) to complete
their registration. Acceptable POA is a birth certificate, passport,
NEXUS, British Columbia Services Card, baptismal certificate, landing

Financial Assistance

South Delta United works with two organizations that ensure that kids who might not otherwise have the means to participate in sport do not get left on the sidelines.  All applications are considered confidential.

Delta KidSport™

Kidsport

Delta KidSport™ assists individual athletes whose financial opportunities are limited. KidSport offers grants to children U5 to U18 years of age who need assistance with the funds required to cover their sports registration fees. KidSport believes no child should have to sit on the sidelines if they really want to play. Parents who require assistance must fill out an application and submit it to our registrars.  South Delta encourages donations to this organization.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart

Jumpstart3

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.

The vision of Jumpstart is simple: Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams.

Other Details

Why the Uniform Kit Fee?

  • For U5 – U9 this includes 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks that members will keep after the season.  The players will receive a Tim Horton’s reversible jersey, to be returned at the end of the year.
  • For U10 – U18 this includes 1 jersey, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks that members will keep after the season.
  • As a club we have undervalued the real costs of managing uniform orders and distribution.
  • The Uniform Kit fee is used by more and more soccer clubs to better manage and control the costs of uniforms
