Mark Rogers- South Delta United Technical Director:
“It is a real pleasure to announce that Stuart will be joining us. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Stuart’s addition falls in line with the South Delta Technical Development Plan and is a massive piece to the puzzle in the growth of soccer in the South Delta Community. He will be using his extensive knowledge of the game and specifically coach education to develop progressive strategies to aid and enhance the growth and experience of our volunteer and staff coaches.”
Stuart Neely-
“The idea of working with someone who possesses a vision with strong values is very exciting for anyone and to be working with Mark (a good friend and colleague) is certainly an attraction. His beliefs are for the right reasons which is to grow the game in both Tsawwassen and Ladner, which ultimately leads to longevity in the game. In order to do that, we must continue to grow a consistent positive learning environment for the coaches here at the grassroots level. The Head of Coach Development role is a key addition to South Delta United’s repertoire – There is genuine excitement to do all that can be done to create strategies that are tailored for the coaches based on what they need. We must ensure that they are interactive, collaborative and that it all follows our coaching objectives, guidelines and continuum. The role is an exciting one that will hopefully help the community of coaches that we have at South Delta United.”
